Gragnano wine is really adaptable: it could be perfectly combined with "casatiello", a local Easter salt-pepper cake, "salsicce con i friarielli", local sausages with broccoli, "focaccia al salame", pizza bread with salami - a very dainty dish - and "panuozzo", home-made bread filled with bacon and buffalo cheese.

The vineyards of Gragnano wine are subjected to temperature ranges that make grapes (Piedirosso, Aglianico,  Sciascinoso or Olivella, Tintore, Surbegna, Suppezza, Castagnara) get the right degrre of acidity and be concetrated of aromas. These climatic excursions are possible thanks to their geographical position: they are protected by the ridges of Faito mountain and vivified by the sea breeze of the gulf.

Mariano Sabatino is a scrupulous taster of Vesuvius wines: his denominations (Gragnano, Lettere, Pompeiano, Euphoria) are amazing tastes of tradition and territory, which are realized with passion and cure by people who really love this territory.
